OBS scene layouts that work for cozy streams
Cozy streams have different needs from competitive ones. Here is how to lay out scenes for slow games, long chats and low-stress viewing.

What cozy actually needs
A cozy stream is usually watched for a long stretch, often in the background. That changes the priorities: nothing should flash, nothing should move constantly, and your camera matters more than your HUD.
A layout that works
- Camera larger than usual. On a cozy stream people are there for you as much as the game. 25–35% of the width is not too much.
- Chat on screen. Slow games mean chat is the content. Give it real space.
- Warm, low-contrast framing. Hard neon edges fight the mood and tire the eye over two hours.
- No looping animation in the corner of the eye. A gentle drift is fine. A pulsing border is not.

On motion
If you use an animated pack, keep the motion to the background layer and leave the frames still. Movement near text is what makes a stream tiring to watch.
